Veganuary at Cocomore. Get in the mood for vegan food!

At Cocomore, we care. Not just about digital content, but also about the content of your belly 😊 We all want to live long and healthy lives with agile creative minds, don’t we? After last year’s Veganuary success at Cocomore, we decided to do it again, and we weren’t disappointed with the response.

Veganuary is a global initiative created to help and inform people about all the different reasons and benefits of going vegan. With so many delicious vegan options out there, it’s no surprise that more and more of us are changing to a plant-based diet. Not only is it good for animal welfare and the environment, but vegan food is also scrummy and makes you feel healthy and energised!

After last year’s Veganuary success at Cocomore, we decided to do it again, and we weren’t disappointed with the response.Lots of mouth-watering vegan dishes were sent in by our vegan taste aficionados. We’re sure that all these beautiful multi-coloured plates will inspire even the greatest of carnivores to try out some vegan options too.

How we were deliciously involved

Competitions were held every week for the best vegan dishes with lovingly prepared vegan food packages, available for the winners. Each week had a different flavour for Cocomoris to vote on, highlighting the versatility and deliciousness of various divine vegan dishes.

Week One’s competition was a tough contender, a mouth-watering burger! We were pleased with the response, and eventually, our clear winner was Linda Andreae with her hugely tempting Beetroot Burger with Fresh Guacamole.

Get ready for a taste tsunami! Week Two was heaven for the sweet-toothed, time for heavenly dessert! All our entries were delectable, but Kyung Eun Park beat the opposition with her Mango Tiramisu and went away with a package choc a bloc with vegan goodness.

Cocomore’s multinational nature called to task for Week Three’s competition: A traditional vegan dish from your country! Covid may have stopped us from travelling, but it certainly didn’t stop fantastic food abroad from coming to us. We were served a veritable smorgasbord of dishes from all around the world, but just like Highlander, there can be only one! Eventually, Week Three’s title went to Ciprian David with Germany’s uber favourite classic dish, Currywurst Vegan Edition with crunchy Fries!

For our final Week Four, we finally picked our last winner. From the table of amazingly coloured earthly delights came a deserved winner, Anastasiia Kucherina with her rainbow Vegan Poke Bowl with marinated Tofu, who received a package of gorgeous vegan goodies.

It’s all about the taste: Fun, knowledge, and a better world for everyone

Veganuary 2022 wouldn’t be the same without our blockbuster knowledge quiz, and this year was a smash! From all the entries, one clear winner emerged, João Rosa, who managed to defy the odds and get all the questions right. A specially chosen vegan hamper package is on its way. It was a crazy 4 weeks, but as if that wasn’t enough, we still managed to find some time for our keenest Veganuaryians to test themselves in our Vegan knowledge quiz, with the top contenders entering a draw for the ultimate vegan food package, crammed to the brim with deliciousness.

We would like to add a huge big thanks to everyone who entered and contributed to our competitions and hopes that a little bit of a healthy conscious Veganuary approach rubs off on us all. Be happy, eat more vegan for a better and healthier future for all!
