Service-oriented architecture: theory and practice
In theory, there are no doubts about the advantages of SOA (service-oriented architecture): Central software components can be combined and configured in different use cases and for different divisions of an organization in multiple ways. Thereby, development cost and time to market are reduced. However, this requires that the central SOA components are actually used company-wide in an efficient way. Practice shows: It doesn’t happen by itself.
Therefore, we do not only develop and implement service-oriented architectures. With our own framework USE (Unified SOA Execution) we also make sure that our clients derive practical benefit from the theoretical advantages of SOA.
